Jasmine, carer to her twin daughters on the autistic spectrum and elderly parent, founded London Carer Space in 2019. She has been studying and practicing meditation for 14 years from the Buddhist tradition. For the last 6 years Jasmine has developed trainings and shared with carers effective ways to apply the tools of mindfulness, awareness and compassion. Jasmine is also a practicing portrait artist.
Fiona facilitates at London Carer Space day retreats. She has been holding retreats, workshops and courses internationally for the past fifteen years; sharing tools for well-being and connection. She is also director for the education charity Mind with Heart, offering training in emotional health and social connection. She has been practicing meditation for over 20 years.
Gabriela help carers reach London Carer Space through social media. She has been a professional carer for over 12 years for young people with special needs. Gabriela strongly believes in the benefits of mindfulness and compassion to help carergivers look after themselves and others.
Pauline takes care of the needs of those attending London Carer Space retreats and workshops. Pauline has been a family and professional carer for over 25 years and has been practising mediitation for more than 20 years. Pauline is also a professional gardener.
Dee helps coordinate London Carer Space retreats and workshops. She is also a trustee for the charity Green Space helping vulnerable groups connect with nature in urban settings.
John helps out behind-the-scenes at London Carer Space retreats. Feel free to approach John if you need any support on the day. He has been a family and friends caregiver for over 10 years and is a graphic designer by profession.
